Welcome Trinidad is a new local organization that welcomes a government approved refugee family into our community.  The organization collaborates with existing support groups to secure housing, greet the family at the airport, enroll children in school, and help adults find jobs. The organization will financially care for one family of up to five people for three months. Beyond that, our members will continue to provide a sustained supportive network during the refugees' transition to our culture, language, education, and workforce.

Welcome Trinidad is part of the national Welcome Corps which provides a wonderful and unique opportunity for Americans to support government approved refugees seeking freedom and safety into their community. America has always had a strong history welcoming new people and refugees and recently, the Welcome Corps has observed many caring citizens welcome Afghan allies, Ukrainians fleeing war, and people from our own hemisphere who are seeking safety asylum.
